How to find your own personal style

1. The first trick to finding your own style is to identify your body type. Are you a pear with narrow shoulders and a peachy ass? or a strawberry with a larger bust and narrow waist? Whatever you are, once you find your shape you can dress to compliment it.

2. The next thing you should do is find your palette. Find colours that compliment your complexion and eliminate anything that washes you out. Neutrals are always safe but make sure you have a few colours in the mix to change things up a bit.

3. Recognise what doesn't suit you and what you don't like. Just because it suits someone else doesn't always mean it's right for you.

4. Categorise your looks! Allow a differentiation from your week day clothes and your weekend clothes. Identify what works best for work, rest and play.

5. Consider the quality and the wearability of the garment with respect to you and the environment. Is it going to last? Or is it going to look shabby and bobbly after a few washes. Fairtrade products are usually better quality and have a more production and manufacturing process.

6. Lastly, make sure it makes you feel good! Wear something that will make you happy and confident every single time you put it on.
